Jesus' teaching on abiding is the fuller expression of God making His home in us!

Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you (James 4:8). Thank you, Abba!

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). Thank you, Lord!

I have hidden Your Word in my heart that I might not sin against You (Psalm 119:11). You are worthy of my all!

Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word, and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him” (John 14:23). Thank you, Jesus!

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns (Philippians 1:6, NLT). Glory to God!

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! Thank you, Holy Spirit.

Jesus knows his sheep, and they recognize and follow His voice—which forms the foundation for genuine spiritual intimacy.

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him (James 1:5). Thank you, Lord!
